Are there any registration charges for creating an account?

No, there are no registration charges. You can create your account free of cost.

What are benefits of creating an account with Go4Ethnic.com? What is My Account?

"My Account" acts like your personal organiser , it allows you to view, update and easily manage multiple things at the same time and is beneficial to have it due to following reasons:

  • You can update your personal information such as email, phone number, billing and shipping address
  • It gives you complete control over all your transactions
  • It allows you to keep track of all your purchases
  • It allows you to change your password

Will my account be deleted if I don't use it often?

Once you create your account, it will stay permanently alive. You can come back anytime and enjoy shopping with us.

I have problem logging in my Go4Ethnic account? I have forgotten my password

If you encounter logging in issues, do the following

  • Please check your Username ID. It is the email address you gave during registration
  • If you forgot your password, then click on "Forgot my password" on the login page and enter your registered email ID. We will send you link to reset your password
  • Sometimes you may face trouble signing in due to our website maintenance, in such a case please wait for 30 minutes and try again later.
  • If you still have trouble logging in, contact our customer care and we will assign you a new password. You can change your password once you log in.

Order Placing and Tracking

I have placed my order, how will I be notified on order confirmation?

We will send you the order confirmation email with complete order details and tracking number to your registered email address. You can also track your Order status by logging on My Account then click My Orders

What do different order status messages mean?

On your order history, your orders will show order status messages and they are:

  • In process: We have received authorization from payment gateways, your order is in process
  • Complete: We have completed your order. Your order has been dispatched and is on its way to delivery address
  • Failed: It means we could not process your order due to invalid credit card number, declined credit/debit card. Please contact customer care for further assistance at Customer Care
  • Cancelled: This may be due to following reasons
    1. Buyer cancelled the order
    2. Go4Ethnic cancelled the order since billing information provided for Credit Card did not match with the data on file with card issuing bank OR Credit/ Debit card was blocked /declined by financial institution. In such an event, we will notify you via your registered email address and will get in touch with you

I have not yet received my order?

Ideally, it takes 10-12 working days for delivery of items within India and 3-4 weeks for delivery of International orders outside India from the date of order confirmation. But sometimes, due to unpredictable circumstances, there might be delay in delivering your order. To know more about your order status please log in and check My Orders to get real-time order status. You can also contact Customer Support. We are happy to help you.

Whom should I Contact for Bulk and Corporate Order Enquiries?

Can I choose my preferred delivery partner?

Go4Ethnic.com have tied up with many reputed and trustworthy courier partners.

Is it possible to order "Out of Stock" products?

Unfortunately, you cannot order "Out of Stock" products, since they are unavailable at the present time. Click "Notify Me" to know once it is available for purchase.

Does Go4Ethnic deliver internationally?

Yes, Go4Ethnic delivers products internationally. We welcome you to buy our online products from anywhere in the world and have an enjoyable shopping experience with us

Who are your courier partners?

Go4Ethnic.com have tied up with most reliable and trustworthy courier partners who deliver goods within and outside India. In order to facilitate smooth, timely and hassle free delivery of your orders we have partnered with DTDC-DotZot and FedEx. If there are no courier services available in your area, we will get in touch with you for additional details to work out alternate convenient way for delivery of your orders

Is there any minimum order value?

There is no minimum order value at Go4Ethnic.com

Can I change my shipping/ delivery address after placing the order?

Yes, you can change your shipping/delivery address as long as your order is not handed over to our delivery partner. Please contact customer care at customercare@go4ethnic.com to update your new shipping address after providing your order confirmation details

Are there any shipping or delivery charges?

For most of our products, shipping is free of cost within India unless if specified on product page. For all international orders, shipping costs differ between different countries. When you place your order, shipping rate calculator automatically calculates shipping charges to account for shipping costs in your country

Courier company asked me to pay extra money for Octroi duty, what should I do?

Some cities within India levy Octroi charges. These cities include Mumbai, Thane, Dombivili, Pune, Nagpur, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Sangli, Ahmednagar, Akola. Any applicable octroi charges will be paid by the customer. Go4Ethnic is not responsible for any octroi charges. Please pay the Octroi fee if the courier company asks you to at the time of delivery of your items.

Are there any restricted items for International shipments?

Most of all our products are accepted for International shipments. But if there are any items restricted in your country, we will contact you and let you know at your registered email address.

How can I track my shipment status?

Go4Ethnic will email you a tracking number/ ID once your order is dispatched at the delivery location. You can track your shipment status by clicking " Track Order" or alternatively you can track your order status on the respective websites of our courier partners.

What is the estimated delivery time?

The estimated delivery time is 5-7 working days for delivery of items within India and 3-4 weeks for delivery of International orders outside India from the date of order confirmation. But sometimes, due to unpredictable circumstances there might be delay in delivering your order. To know more about your order status please log in and check My Orders to get real-time order status. The status on tracking website shows delivery was attempted but I was not there to receive it, is there any way I can receive my order now?

It happens sometimes. Do not panic, Relax! We are here to serve you. Usually courier companies make more than one attempt to deliver your products. In case if you do not receive your order, please get in touch with us at customercare@go4ethnic.com

For international shipments, why are shipping charges high?

Go4Ethnic strictly follows standard shipping policies, you are charged as per best-negotiated rates by our courier partners.

Can you hold my order?

Sure, once your payment is made, we can hold your order till you want us to. Please notify us at the earliest before we dispatch your order.

What if there are any local taxes/customs charges for my order when it is delivered to me?

We are not sure about the customs policies and how custom authorities will act on arrival of our product in your country. If there are any custom charges you will need to pay it, we will surely assist you wherever needed

What if there is custom delay?

Go4Ethnic keeps track of all international shipments. At our end, we strive to avoid any delays. But due to unforeseen circumstances, if there is a customs delay on your product, we will look into the matter. We request you to be patient until we get your order cleared through customs.

Can I gift wrap my order?

Absolutely, we will do a complimentary gift wrap for you. You can raise a request for gift wrap at customercare@go4ethnic.com. Please specify your order confirmation ID in the email

Can I add personalized message in my gift order?

Sure! we will love to write a personal message on your behalf. Let us know what message you want us to write on your gift order at customercare@go4ethnic.com. Please specify your order confirmation ID in the email.

What are different modes of payment for purchasing at Go4ethnic.com?

How do I pay by using a Credit/ Debit Card?

We accept payments made by Credit/ Debit card with in India and Internationally.

Credit cards
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards
After placing the order, when you proceed to checkout, you will need to enter your card number, expiry date, three-digit CVV number (found on the backside of your card). After entering these details, you will be redirected to the bank's page for entering the online 3D Secure password.

Debit cards
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Maestro debit cards
After placing the order, when you proceed to checkout, you will need to enter your card number, expiry date (optional for Maestro cards), three-digit CVV number (optional for Maestro cards). You will then be redirected to your bank's secure page for entering your online password (issued by your bank) to complete the payment.

What is Cash on Delivery (COD)?

Go4Ethnic offers cash on delivery option to our valuable customers where you can pay for the purchase at your doorstep. COD option is available within India. COD services are supported by highly efficient and trusted team of our logistic Partners. Please note that courier person will deliver the parcel only after receiving the payments. Please do not open your parcel until payment is done. In the case of any concerns please contact us at customercare@go4ethnic.com.

Is Debit/ Credit Card Payment Secured at Go4Ethnic.com?

Go4Ethnic.com uses latest data encryption and security technologies available on the internet. Go4Ethnic uses 256-bit encryption technology to protect your card information while securely transmitting it to the respective banks for payment processing. All credit card and debit card payments are processed through secure and most trusted payment gateways managed by leading banks. An additional layer of security is implemented where Banks now use the 3D Secure password service for online transactions through identity verification.

My transaction failed, but money was deducted from my account, what should I do now?

We regret the inconvenience caused. Transaction failure can happen due to the technical problem or by entering wrong credentials If money was deducted from your account and you did not receive any order confirmation email from us, please do not order the same product again. We suggest you to wait for 2 days. With in 2 days, your order might get confirmed by our system and we will send you the order confirmation details to your registered email address

If you do not see any order confirmation email from us within 2 days, then please check with your bank and contact us at customercare@go4ethnic.com We will check with the Payment Gateway and the bank. You may be required to submit screenshot of the account statement showing money deducted.

Return, Cancel, Refund

I want to modify my order, is it possible to do so?

Surely, you can modify your order as long as it is not shipped to your delivery address. Please contact us at customercare@go4ethnic.com to modify your order.

Can I return products purchased in Sale?

Sorry, you cannot return products purchased in sale.

What is Go4Ethnic.com return and refund policy?

At Go4Ethnic.com, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to be absolutely satisfied with all your purchases. However, our products are covered by 7 day return guarantee. You are eligible for return if you received a defective product, damaged product, or if your product is significantly different from what was displayed on the site.

For defective/damaged product, contact us within 2 days of receiving your order

Return orders should not be used/ worn/ altered/tampered and should be in original condition with the price tag and packing slip

Important Note:

  • Refunds will not be issued if the returned products have been used/ altered /tampered/ damaged
  • Refunds will not be issued if the return request is made outside 7 day return time frame
  • Health and personal care items are NOT entitled for returns

How can I return an item delivered within India?

Please file a return request from "My Account" Go to Sign-In > My Account > Order History > Request Return. Please specify the reason for your return. 

Return Request will be reviewed by Go4ethnic and the information will be shared with the concerned vendor/ seller/ artisan

Please send your return using a reliable courier that offers to track. It is strongly recommended that you make sure that your order package is returned in the original condition OR

We will arrange for a reverse pickup from your location, all shipping charges are borne by the customer and Go4Ethnic will give an equal amount of store credits for your future shopping with us. If we are unable to offer a pickup from your location, please send the return package through any reliable courier that offers tracking.

We will offer refund once the product (s) are received back

How can I return an item delivered outside India?

Please file a return request from "My Account" Go to Sign-In > My Account > Order History > Request Return. Please specify the reason for your return

Return Request will be reviewed by Go4Ethnic and the information will be shared with the concerned vendor/ seller/ artisan

You must send your return using a reliable international carrier that offers tracking (such as EMS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL).  It is strongly recommended that you make sure that your order package is returned in the original condition. The return shipping charges will be borne by the customer and Go4Ethnic will give equal amount of store credits for your future shopping with us

We will offer refund once the product (s) are received back

How can I get defective item replaced?

The unused/undamaged item is entitled for replacement
The defective item can be returned through any reliable courier as described in "return of items within and outside India section'' and once the product is received back, we will ship the replacement immediately

  • Return shipping charges within and Outside India will be borne by the Customer

Can I return a part of my order?

Yes, return request can be made at individual product level in case of multiple products purchased. Please initiate a return request against individual product under Go to Sign-In > My Account > Order History > Request Return

How can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order if it is not dispatched or shipped to delivery destination. For cancelling order, Go to Sign-In > My Account > Order History > Cancellation Request

How should I pack my product for return pickup?

You will need to make sure your item is not worn/used/altered/tampered. Your package should be accompanied with original price tag and order slip On the shipment package, please write your order number. We will send you packaging instructions and return address to your registered email address

Why was my order cancelled by Go4Ethnic?

An order gets cancelled due to following reasons

  • Incorrect pricing or product description error
  • Billing information provided for Credit Card did not match with the data on file with card issuing bank
  • Credit card / Debit card was blocked/declined by the financial institution
  • Product out of stock. We will notify you in such a situation
  • Payment fraud suspicion

After the order is cancelled it takes about 10-15 days for the refund to show up in your account

How and when will I get my refund money back?

Refund is credited within 10-15 business days of receipt of the returned/ cancelled products using the same form of payment originally used for the order
If you chose cash on delivery option (COD), you can opt for NEFT transfer to your bank account
Refunds can also be credited in the form of Go4Ethnic gift cards. Gift cards are more convenient and enjoyable options which allow you to shop for more traditional and ethnic unique handicraft products during festivals and holiday season at Go4Ethnic.com, you can purchase products at your own convenience and there is no expiry to the gift card. Please let us know if you opt for gift cards. Your comfort is our priority.

Why is it that I haven't yet received my refund money back?

Once you have cancelled your order, we will send you confirmation email for refund request. Be rest assured we have initiated the refund request process and are following up with the financial institution. Sometimes banks take longer time to process the refund request. If you don't get your refund within 3 weeks since refund confirmation email, contact us, we will look into the matter immediately

Is it possible to replace or exchange the product?

At present, we do not have the option of replace or exchange. But please drop us a message or contact our customer care, we will look into the matter separately and help you get the best shopping experience with us.
